It’s been a busy weekend. Friday night I left straight from work to head to Feasterville,PA outside of philly with my buddy Smashing Kali and her teammate Arizona Lightning from syracuse’s Assault City Roller Derby for ECDX. While we were in the parking lot of the hotel waiting for the rest of our crew to arrive Hannah texted me saying marriage was now legal in New York State. Another symbol of her derby hood, her gf is in Pennsylvania at a derby thing when marriage is legalized.
ECDX was the bestest. It would have been better if my lady had been there. But it was so much good derby and I think seeing some of the best skaters in the world up close like that has inspired me to work harder.
