i don't wanna join your club

the leaves may fall, the boughs may break, but that doesn't mean that love's a big mistake.

I love:
Puck, my cat
Roller Derby
Grace, my guitar
and WoW
oh, and a girl.
(not necessarily in that order)

The Ithaca BlueStockings emerged victorious from the Crown City Rollerz Royal Pains first home bout in Cortland, NY. This was also the Bluestockings first bout of the season! Great performances from both teams.
The BlueStockings ended the first period of the game leading by 56 points! The score at the end of the first half was 21-77. With about ten minutes remaining in the second half the BlueStockings had easily gone over the century mark, and while the scoreboard didn’t display over two digits, the score was 40 – 118. Final score 55-156, a win for the BlueStockings. These teams will meet again for a rematch on September 10 in Ithaca, NY.

first bout. look at that damn score. it was the best 2 hours of my life. i wish i had gotten to skate in every jam though! there was one point towards the end of the first half when we were ahead by 50 points or so and i had just come off the track. i realized that we were going to utterly destroy cortland and i had this huge effing adrenaline rush. like nothing i’ve ever experienced before. my heart was pounding in my ears. i felt like i was going to explode. it was indescribable. this is why i do it and damn i can’t wait to do it again.
